Former VP at hospital company faces 15 counts; charges are denied.

Mr. Ethington said commissions were paid.  “They were industry standards,” he said, adding that Mr. [client] is “a licensed broker and authorized by law to receive the commissions.”

When asked whether Mr. [client] was entitled to the commissions, even acting as a Triad employee, Mr. Ethington responded: “In this situation, yes.  The real estate transactions were very beneficial to the company.  He acted as a broker because he’s licensed.  He’s authorized to receive the commissions.”
